Christmas In Thailand

Christmas in Thailand

When I was young, What I always heard about Christmas is the birth of Jesus, time for love , giving and sharing, singing Christmas Carols. But now Christmas a commercial season everywhere where people have to spend a lot of money for buying gifts, beautiful Christmas decorations.
Celebrating Christmas in Thailand is kind of the same like in other countries in which they also spend something for gifts and decorations. We all know that Thailand is a Buddhist country but they also celebrate Christmas not literally being together with their families and have dinner. During Christmas Day, as I said that it’s a normal day in which people have to work.
For Thais, Christmas is just an ordinary day but you can still feel the spirit of Christmas outside the streets where it is decorated by different kinds of birght lights everywhere especially in the shopping centers and you can hear also some Christmas songs playing. During this season, most of the shopping malls they put up a small beer garden in which there are some people who play music for entertainment.
Anyway, whatever celebrations we have in Thailand, it’s still Christmas. I wish you all the Peace, Love and Happiness this Christmas season. Merry Christmas to all
